Hrimanda is one of only two fillies foaled in 1999.  We are very pleased with all of our foals this year.  Hrimanda is a silverdapple filly with a blush.  This filly has a close relationship to her mother, Eyrun, who is an extremely large and stocky brood mare.  Hrimanda has proven to show as solid as her dam, and also has inherited her patience, gentility and disposition.  Hrimanda, being one of only two fillies born this last year, is growing out of her shyness.  Her mother comes from exceptional bloodlines including a first prize stallion and an honorary prize mare both shown in Iceland.  This filly has grown a lot since this picture was taken, new pictures will be available will be available this spring.  Carries Silver Dapple gene.

Eldy is a US born, purebred Icelandic filly with a rich chestnut coat and a wide blaze.  She was featured on the front cover of the Icelandic Horse and Travel Magazine in the July/August 1998 issue which is now sold out completely.  Her looks and disposition are always commented on when visitors come to the ranch.  This filly is adored by all who lay eyes upon her.  She has supreme gaits and we feel she is an excellent prospect and will excel in anything her new family will put her through.  We would like to retain her for our breeding program, however, she needs and deserves so much more than we can give her here and we would love to see her go to a loving family.  Eldy will definitely be a show horse prospect as well as a great trail and pleasure horse with the proper training.
